"Cahiers du Cinéma". No. 1 to 48, 51, 52,... - Lot 264 - Les ventes Damien Voglaire SRL
"Cahiers du Cinéma". No. 1 to 48, 51, 52, 54 to 106, 109 to 137, 139 to 150/151, 153 to 175, 177, 179, 181, 183, 188, 191, 208, 212, 215, 223, 302, 312/313, 319, 334/335, 337, 358, 364, 365, 369 to 374, 377 to 379, 390, 464, 534, 537 and 546. P., 1951-2000, +/- 200 vols. 4° (some duplicate copies), stapled or paperback (several issues in poor condition, spines damaged). "Les Cahiers du Cinéma", founded in April 1951 by Lo Duca (later replaced by Éric Rohmer), Jacques Doniol-Valcroze and Léonide Keigel, define themselves as the faithful successors of Jean-Georges Auriol and his Revue du cinéma, which disappeared in 1948. Even in the details of the presentation, with the famous yellow cover, the differences from one magazine to another are imperceptible. At least in the first issues. For, from 1952 on, and more and more until the end of the 1950s, the Cahiers became the medium of a critical line, the "politics of authors", which would influence more or less a whole part of the theory and practice of cinema in France.
