Bound with: 7. [Jean de Lillers]. La Cassandre des monts de pieté belgiques. 1626, small 4°, 38-2 bl.-5-1 bl.-10-[6] p. The interest rates of 15% and the opulent luxury of the buildings of the Monts-de-Piété aroused strong opposition, of which Jean de Lillers became the spokesman. Because of his protests against Cobergher's Monts de Piété, he was imprisoned from 1620 to 1626 and banished on February 20, 1626. It is thus from France that he continued his virulent attacks against the Monts-de-Piété. Extremely rare. Bound with: 8. Placcart du Roy sur le reglement de ses monnoyes. Antwerp, Ierosme Verdussen, 1644, small 4°, [24] p. + Evaluation of the species of gold. [48] p. Rare. Nice copy. Bound with : 9. ZYPAEUS (Franciscus). Notitia iuris Belgici.
