Limited edition of 150 copies on Montval laid paper, accompanied by a suite of 21 colour proofs on China paper, including the facsimile of a portrait of Baudelaire. Henry Chapront (1876-1965), is a French symbolist painter, engraver, aquafortist and illustrator. He is notably known for his original illustrations for Remy de Gourmont's "Oraisons mauvaises" and for those of J.K. Huysmans' "Là-bas".
