First edition of this war poem by Paul Éluard, published in 1943 under the pseudonym Jean du Haut, clandestinely printed in Saint-Flour by Amarger in the "Bibliothèque Française" collection. The second edition, published in Cahors in 1944, bore Paul Éluard's name. A rare item.
